We have a few suppliers around us but still looking for the "perfect" one closer to home. Hally it's worth asking at any charcoal chicken places around your area, we have two in our area and one was more than happy to sell us a 20kg bag for $25. The Tandoor Living guy had a look and said it was good quality and there were a lot of large pieces but also quite a bit of smaller stuff.

Hally, Wonder,
I've just come back from our local Indian Store (quite a big store) and they were selling I think it was 5kg bags of long burning charcoal for $12.50. Not sure if that's cheap or not but you might be able to get larger quantities ordered in for you. I didn't really expect to see it there, but thought of you both.

Also, on the Aussie BBQ forum Hally, they're arranging a bulk buy of charcoal, might be worth getting in on that. Here's a link to the thread.

Thx, will look into that ;D

Yes mich :)

Its nice to know we have such good meat cooked & ready to go for the week. Only salad  or veg to cook, plus I need to make the sauce for the butter chicke, but might keep a litte chicken aside for sandwiches, its delicious :)

Just chopped up the roast chicken, delicious, really tasty & really moist :)

Welcome back Hally. The food all looks and sounds lovely, we are going to slow roast a shoulder lamb in ours this week to use for souvlaki, I might also put in some potatoes. How did you do your potatoes?
