Not really back, just posted as we love The Tandor, really busy, 15 more sleeps until our trip :)

Wonder, potatoes wrapped in foil & cooked for 1 3/4 hours, lovely flavour, just in a foil tray with meat.

We have the SS2 deluxe, great for us, you can cook heaps.

Obbie, definitely go the SS2, i saw the smaller one and it for the little extra it is much better. I think the smaller one is intended for use in small areas such as balconys. We don't use ours as much as Hally but we love it.

We froze some batches of Naan & defrosted & heated very briefly in oven. Not quite as good as direct from the tandor, but better than any take away or other naan we have had. Still very very good :)

We are so tempted by one of these. I love the idea of a tandoor.
