When you are finished come over to my place for a rest before you start on my cupboards, you will be classed as experienced so I'll expect you to do a good job,   :P

Sounds like a wartime barricade!! ;D They wont dare poke their little heads in your cupboards again, Hally . . .but seriously, you do have to keep a vigilant eye out for them particularly in summer.  And don'e forget, any new purchases have to do time in the slammer . .er . . freezer . . . ;D

Sounds like you've done an extremely thorough job! :)

Hally you poor thing. Thank goodness you have the pool to drop into as it is so hot and humid today.
I don't buy rice etc in bulk for this reason. The only thing I buy in bulk is 5kg of Bakers' flour and that goes into a large sealed container immediately.

I have just emptyed 5kg of bakers flour into tupperware, sieved it, no weavils, its now in the freezer.

Had to take my ice compartment out to fit it in, lol.

I will leave it inthere for a few hours.

I have other flour in its bags in a sealed container with bay leaves.

We will see, about 1/2 way through now.

Ues a pool breakcoming up :)

I have been itchy since last night& keep imaging them on my body.

As I say NEVER AGAIN.

Sadly my 5kg of rice had 1 weavil, tossed too.

Break for lunch.

I have about an hour to go.

I could not belive my eyes near 3pkts of unopened nuts, 2 ugly beasts walked towards me on the shelh. They are now dead.

I mght have to throw the nuts, i have them out on a white platter to see if any appear.

Your pantry looks wonderful Hally - a lot of hard work for you and I hope you don't have anymore problems.

Kt2, I hope so.

All my tupperware worked fine, no weavels in tupperware.

I have given dh instructions, do not open  any packet unless its going in tupperware straight away or you eat it all :)
