What a fantastic gift! I got my map, thanks chookie - my girls will eat any type of icecream, just asked them what their favourite is, one said choc chip the other strawberry, but anything you have will be eaten, don't worry!
Getting close now, have to think about my lucky dip items!

I did my 'dummy' run up to Cherokee on Satuday using Bess and Ral's map and managed not to get lost - which is pretty amazing for me!  For those of you using the map, just be warned that there are approx. three smaller, minor roundabouts on the road to Sunbury before you get to the big one that you turn off to get to Cherokee.  Other than that, have faith in the map ... if it got me there safely it will get everyone there safely!

Those of you going up are in for a tremendous treat.  Bess and Ral are the loveliest people - but most of you know that as you have met them already.  They are generous hosts (as I know - I came away with a big bag of goodies) and their home is stunning.  Ral is a mean coffee maker, too.  I don't drink coffee, but after seeing the lovely cup he made for himself and Bess I was almost wishing I was a coffee drinker!

Bess and Ral, thanks for everything on Saturday - I found my way back to the road north easily.  I am coddling the starter and hope not to kill this one.  I baked the loaf of bread you gave me and will get stuck in to that today.  See you soon.

It sounded like a great day Marina and it was a great idea to do a dummy run.  I can just imagine the goodies you came away with, whenever Chookie has been to my place she has come laden with produce and gifts.  Ral will, I'm sure, be kept busy making coffees for everyone at this eagerly awaited lunch.

The map that Marina followed,  was printed by Ral.  However his printed had a hissy fit and I had to print the maps that I sent out.  Mine were more basic ,  but should do the job.
