One of my upholstery buddies says that her GD goes to nursery with a "Disco" and she has a baby brother called "Soul" :-X
That is unbelievable CC, poor children.

I love Harriet which is Lily's middle name it would of been her first name but mil wasn't fond of it, although it was her mum's name ::)
i love Stella too
good luck picking the perfect name when dd20  was born I was calling her Madison the whole time but when she was born and so tiny 2.5 kg  I thought it too big a name so called her Abby instead;D

Suzanne - my gorgeous 7yo daughter is called Harriet so it is of course my favourite girls name.

I love old fashioned names like Ivy, Lilian, Violet (anyone seeing a pattern here LOL) and Miriam.

You also need to make sure that the middle name doesn't start with a vowel as it can then make words with the initials and the child is called that. Eg Richard Albert Bones could be nicknamed RAB.

I am not keen on a lot of boy's names beginning with B so I asked SIL to please not call their little boy a B name.  No problems said SIL, his initial would be BO so no way is B in the mix.

My Great Grandmother's name was Bronslava but she was called Bertha.  I wouldn't recommend either name.  ;)  ;D

On of my Grandmothers was Agnes. An old fashioned name but I like it.

Whenever I hear that name "Agnes" I think of Agnes Brown :D :D :D

I like the old-fashioned Isobel :) And Lillian is a nice name too. I had great-aunts by both of those names. Elsie was another, and so was Joyce :)
