Varoma demo
« on: February 28, 2013, 10:57:03 am »
2 weeks ago I had a Varoma demonstration and the demonstrater cooked a lovely chicken dish but when I asked for the recipe she said she would have to ask head office which version to give me and I still haven't been given the recipe so my question is why don't they give out the recipes they demonstrate and would anyone have it I would really appreciate a copy as I don't have a lot of confidence using my machine even though I have had it for a while , thanks

Was it the warm chicken salad? Or something else? I'm sure someone here will be able to help :)

Hi jamberie I can't remember what it was called the chicken tenderloins were steamed and some sort of soup was made in the jug then the soup was poured out and a few  more ingredients were added to the little bit left in the jug and whizzed up then poured over the chicken I was told it was the new Varoma demonstration sorry if i sound vague I just wish I had a better memory

That's ok, the demos go so fast! I'm sorry though, I'm not quite sure what the recipe is (Varoma demos used to include a chicken salad and lots of people have that recipe). Hopefully someone else knows- I think you gave a great description that someone will recognise:)

They have recently done away with varoma demos as such and now a normal demo will include use of the varoma.  I heard you cook chicken (or you could have salmon) in the varoma and make a veloute type soup in the bowl.  I'm surprised the recipe wasn't passed onto you Connars nan.

I doubt it would be anywhere except with consultants CN, they guard new recipes pretty closely.  Keep on your consultant's back until you receive it.

Just a wild guess here ... but the new demo format was only rolled out 1st March officially and I am guessing that your consultant has not been able to forward you the recipe until now  ;) ;)

Spot on K ;) it is so new it hasn't been printed up by HO for CLs to give to customers as yet. CLs will be able to pass it to customers directly at their demos from now on though.
