Unfortunately its the way it is, with rising costs, insurance and wages, legal fees, rents.
soon, so many businesses will be owned by overseas, and govt will have sold off everything else, nothing will be aussie owned.

Too true. I try and buy Dick Smith products when I can. They are a little more expensive but I think they are good and I feel I am doing my little bit.
