Muesli Slice

Muesli Slice

INGREDIENTS

50g butter
110g raw sugar
60g honey
150g pepitas
1 weet-bix crushed
90g sultanas
50g rolled oats
75g self raising flour

METHOD

* Pre-heat oven 170C and line a 20cm square cake tin with baking paper
* Place butter, sugar and honey in  *: - 60C, Sp 4 for 3 minutes until sugar is dissolved
* Cool slightly
* Add remaining ingredients to honey mixture and combine -  :-:, Sp 4 for 30 seconds
* Spoon into lined cake tin and press down lightly with a spoon
* Bake for 20-25 minutes and allow to cool in tin before cutting into squares

A really quick recipe that would be suitable for lunch boxes.

Perfect Michele. DH will get these for car club on Wednesday. See if I can keep all the old fellas healthy.  ;D

Thanks girls. It really is a quick and easy recipe. If you are able to add nuts then do. Next time I will drizzle with chocolate.

That sounds really yummy Suzanne, thanks for sharing the variation. Next time I will add apricots and drizzle with white chocolate.
