Glad people are enjoying these. I have made them a few times now. Some with meat and some without for the vegetarian in the family. :)

Has anyone else frozen these? I sent one of my leftover frozen ones to work with SD today for his lunch, he said it was very dry :-\

Thoughts or tips anyone? :)

I wrapped mine individually in gladwrap and froze them, DH has made no complaints so they must have been fine...? Think he gives his a few seconds in the m-wave before eating them tho, so that might make a difference.  ???

I make these for the kids lunches all the time and haven't had any complaints. I also wrap them individually as I think it keeps them fresher and is also much quicker in the mornings.

That would have been the problem then , thanks astarra ;) After further investigation, I found out that SD had been travelling to another town on business when he stopped for lunch, so he wouldn't have been able to microwave them :P

Problem solved :D

Floweryspring I'm glad you enjoyed them. I must make some more myself, with my hungry tribe they have no chance of going stale.  Actually they are luck to cool down lol :)

Gee I feel slack, I haven't cooked these for a long time and the family love them. Better find some time to do some more cooking.

These were delicious and lovely and soft. We used tomato sauce, sweet chilli and sweet plum sauce as the base.
