Hi Smartcat, as a Thermomix owner-to-be I'd like to welcome you to our forum - this is the place where you will spend many hours once you buy a Thermomix.  Have a good read whilst you are waiting to purchase and if you are in 2 minds, I'm sure you will be convinced to buy once you see all the lovely food we prepare in our machines.

A warm welcome to you Smartcat . . .  ask any one of us and you'll find that we would not like to go back to the way things were before we had our TMXs!! ;D  We're continually blown away by what we can produce in them . . . .bread. soups, stews, steamed dishes galore, all in one meals using the bowl rice basket varoma . . .have you had a demonstration yet?  They're good fun and the consultants are usually very good and won't indulge in any arm twisting . . ;D

Welcome to the forums Smartcat - this is the best online resource for the Thermomix that I've found. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I have. You must be excited about getting your Thermomix at home.

A Sydney sider (you have a lot of company then) Yes definitely have a good look through the recipes. The thing I like best about cooking with a thermomix is that you are in control of what ingredients go into your recipe - no additives, preservatives, numbers etc.

Welcome Smartcat, you also save on lots of washing up too. That is one of the things I really like.
