Introducing me!
« on: March 09, 2013, 11:52:22 am »
Hello everyone!

I have *just* ordered my TMX today!

I am from Sydney but have lived in PNG for the last few years.  Though due to some delays in work contracts, we've been living in Bangkok for the last six months.

We are heading back to PNG via Australia next Sunday.  When I'm in Australia I'm having a consultant deliver my machine and give me a demo and some instructions.

When we get back to PNG we will be living on a boat so I'm hoping to use my TMX pretty much exclusively for most meals (no room for lots of pots and pans!)

I'm looking forward to getting to know you and my TMX at the same time!

Hello and welcome to the forum Shelly! :D I bet you can't wait to get your hands on your TMX ;D
Living on a boat sounds like fun to me. Do you stay in one place or do you float around?
A TMX will be the perfect gadget for you in a tiny kitchen like that. There are so many easy meals you can make!

And remember the number one forum rule: there are no silly questions ;D We look forward to hearing more from you!

Welcome to the Forum Shelly.  Bit of a challenge living on a boat.  What sort of fresh fruit and veggies can you get.  ?  I was thinking some of the salads might be handy. Maybe fish cooked in the Varoma.  have fun.

Hi!
I'm quite a newbie myself and it is really lovely in here.  So much information, so many ideas and there's always someone who can advise or recommend.  It's brilliant.

You will love your Thermomix!

Welcome to the forum. Your thermomix will be the perfect solution for cooking on the boat. How big is your boat? Is it a sailing boat or motor boat?
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
