Sorry - have missed a couple of weeks . . . .  thought you might like the new 8:00pm program where Adam Liaw takes a "culinary tour" through Japan . .

7:30 pm  EST  Madhur Jaffrey's Curry Nation

In this episode, Madhur learns what Bangladeshis really eat at home and discovers very different dishes to the ones so often served with a pint in a pub.

8:00 pm  EST  Destination Flavour - Japan

Adam Liaw is taking food lovers on a journey of culinary discovery through Japan.

Adam heads to Hokkaido, known by Australians for its snow, but to the Japanese it is a gourmet paradise known for extraordinary cold-water seafood and dairy farming.

Adam meets a dairy farmer who, with only 35 cows and his wife’s cheesecake recipe, turned their tiny farm into a multi-million dollar business.

Hokkaido may be remote, but the northern island has more than 60 Michelin-starred restaurants and the food culture here is as strong as anywhere in the world.

Thank you for the reminder GF :) I actually got to watch Heston tonight because of your reminder :) not sure I'll be a regular viewer of his show as I just kept thinking about the food waste :(
I'll try to be more organised next week and watch the earlier shows :)

I'm watching it too and I really like it. I especially like how you get a bit of information on the foods and their history. I think it is far more professional than the Aussie one was.
