I've made these a couple of times and like them so much I do not allow myself to make them very often (if that makes sense). My 7 year old neighbour loves them and has told me I am the "Queen of the Cookies" whilst her mum, who is a professional caterer is "Queen of everything else" - so I consider these cookies have elevated me way above my 'position' in life!

If someone calls you Queen of anything Cuilidh, just run with it, it is a real compliment even if it is from a 7 year old. Who would know more about a good cookie than a child - they are the ones who eat most of them.

Hi Chrisie8. Welcome. What else do you like making in the TMX?

Hee, am really a newbie... So far I've made soy milk, Thai green curry and these cookies. My sis has just had a baby so I've been busy playing aunt instead of playing with my new TM!

Too many Easter bunny... decided to use it for this cookies. Also using leftover barley and oatmeal (DS baby food), omit nut and only use 140g choc chip (that's what's left). First batch out from the oven... Will come back to report the result soon.

DD give 10/10. Yum! I made about 4 dozen, good size for little mouth. Will make it again, with your healthier version. Thanks, Chels!

Gone quickly. Only one left and still have one more Easter bunny. Made another lot today, using all steel cut oats, no choc chip and jumbo size (a dozen). Yummo!

I made these cookies yesterday and they are sensational. I used lindt chocolate as this was all I had. Not sure if it made much difference.

Loved them. Used mostly dark chocolate.
Not the best picture, sorry.
Really yummy, though we made them a bit big. (I'm sure someone will say there is never too big a cookie)
