Thermomix Constant Beeping
« on: March 25, 2013, 10:45:27 pm »
Hi All,

I am new to the Thermomix world and already have an issue!  Each time I go to use the varoma the thermo works for the 30 seconds then stops and starts to beep constantly refusing to do anything else! What am I doing incorrectly!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Hello and welcome to the forum Selina :)

It sounds like the prongs in the base of the Thermomix are wet. This is a common cause of a beeping machine ;) You could try pulling the machine apart and giving it a good dry with a tea towel. Hope this helps.

Hi Selina - do you have a consultant?  If you do, please call him/her.  If your consultant has dropped out of sight, then please call the HO in Perth.

As Amy said, give the prongs on the bottom of the jug a good going over to make sure they're dry.  Is the varoma setting correctly so no moisture is escaping onto the body of the TMX? (jsut a thought)

I don't think Amy means to pull the whole machine apart . .!! :o ;D  . . but to just disassemble it as much as possible, make sure the base(s) are dry as well as the prongs . .

Good luck - and let's know how everything is going  .  :D

Has it been fixed?

Are you sure you are putting 30 minutes on the timer and not 30 seconds Selina?  Sometimes we overlook the obvious.
