Were they from the masterchef forum Karen? That's the place Thermomixer & I went into bat for them.  It was us two & Bimby Queen against the world.  (I am mojosgirl on that one!).

It was really disappointing as Thermomixer said that not more consultants & clients went in to help it.  If I had thought of Karens comment about it costing 35c a day before now I would have put that in - thats about 2 bob isn't it??

More for WA viewers - Masterchef is using Thermomix tonight - not sure what they will cook/use it for, but I was told that it was going to be on but it was a BIG secret for some reason !!!

You will be able to see it on the web.

I did see the Thermomix on Master Chef last night, it was quick though.  George used it when he was making White chocolate cannelloni with strawberry soup. :)

I had to laugh tonight. My 8 year old was watching Masterchef and was all excited calling me in to the lounge "Mummy they have a Thermomix in the restaurant, I saw a thermomix!". It was in Georges restaurant The Press Club.

not sure how relaxing the meal would be tho with Georgie screaming his head off in the kitchen :D
did tell me DH that I wouldn't mind going to a "decent restaurant" for once instead of a cafe, and he said "why? the food is better at home?"

:-)) aha that so? then i'm not cooking anymore...  :D

LOL - there were only another 200 people at lunch and none of them have a TMX, although Amanda can tell you that Maggie should have had one to use on Cook & Chef.

Maggie would have been too terrified to use it! She's an old fashioned gal.
But, I'm sure with lots of practice and encouragement, she'd just love it.

Imagine...lunch with Maggie Beer....AND Stephanie Alexander.....
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I didn't realise the snail porridge had snails in until the end when I saw them serving it, drrr. I enjoyed last nights episode (actually remembered to watch it). I loved the 'sand' they had for the beach.
I can't stand all the faces Joanne (I think) pulls.
