If only I could go to Heston's restaurant.  I would probably have to mortgage the house but it might be worth it

LOL indeed Gerty.  MrsT would not have lasted the liverwurst challenge !!

I trialled about 4 dishes with chicken and beef liver last year over 2 weeks and she threw in the towel (read chucked a wobbly).

She would probably tell me to go on my own, ........ while she goes and buys some clothes, handbags, shoes, ...  :o :o :o

Thanks for the info re Coles Gretchen. I have some Wesfarmers shares so I hope it keeps up.

I loved the 'eggs' on Masterchef last night. I'd love to try it. I can just imagine friends looking at a boiled egg for sweets.

I have only just read that about Coles, interesting indeed.  Thanks Gretchen (and Cookies comment which drew me back to it).  Have printed it out for DD2 and it looks like Grandma has to start getting 2 year old GS into the kitchen as I did with GD when she was a tot.

Interesting reading. I'm certainly glad people are getting into cooking, but, I shake my head at people's sheep-like behaviour. You know, "Wow, everyone's into Masterchef and cooking, I'd better do it too..duh...I can't think for myself...baaaaaaa"

I really appreciated my MIL getting my boys into the kitchen. She is a great cook & had the time to spend many hours with them. They both loved it. DS2 (11) still loves to cook with grandma.

MJ they are called sheeple!!! I killed myself laughing the first time I heard this term but it is so true  :D :D
