Woolies On Line, NOT A PLUG
« on: May 23, 2013, 11:42:53 am »
My last 3 orders have had quite a few items missing. 1 week they teft off my entire Dairy Order.

This week 4 items totalling $12.

Not impressed at all. Anyone else had problems.

Can't say that I have but then again, I do Click and Collect to save on delivery costs since I realised one close to me does this.

Did you call them or are you frustrated by the inconvenience?

I email them & they will refund or re-deliver which is OK, but if you ordered milk & delivery arrives at night & you have no milk or butter etc   for the mornng or need something for school lunch, , really maddening, especially when not the first time >:(

Hally, I've also had problems with them in the past. I've had missing items, melted ice cream ( which you could hear slushing around in the tub ) , wrong products supplied and also substitutions when I have specifically requested no substitutes. One time they were running late so my evening order wouldn't be delivered until after 11pm ! No thank you!!
I did find it handy though when I had my second baby for non urgent items and also bulky items as I would generally go to the shops every day for a basket of groceries - milk, fruit etc  :)

It certainly isn't satisfactory Hally. I must admit when I have complained to Woolies they have always solved the problem. I try to send them positive things too.
I must admit though I feel things have fallen in service, products and stocking the shelves.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

We stopped doing online orders because it was too frustrating, we almost always had to go down there anyway to sort out problems with the order.
Easier to just write my shopping list and do it myself :)

Same here too.
Aussie farmers are really good for milk, bread and egg orders Hally. Great service, quality products and no mistakes. And no more broken eggs!

Have to agree here . . . ended up with someone else's order and a shopping bag full of broccoli (my least favourite vegetable!!!)  They just said to keep it, and would deliver the remainder of my order that they messed up . .  .I guess the bottom line for me is to keep it for when I siimply can't get to the shops. . .  (ie . . sick etc.)

Online shopping was brilliant for me when I had plaster on my leg and on crutches.
Yes they did miss some stuff at times but I figure no one is perfect and its just a human error and Woolies always refunded my money or replaced the goods no questions asked. :)

I do prefer to shop my self but online shopping has been very handy in the past. :)

Well at least its just not me :)

Kimmy, I am a huge Aussie Farmers fan, been using them since they came to our area. I do find them quite expensive. What do oiu order from them?

Yes on line is great for convienence, anyway emailed them with missing items & asked them why there is always so many errors.

I will use them when I am unable to get to the shops.

Thanks everyone :)

My regular order is milk, sandwich bread and eggs. I love that the bread doesnt get squished.  I also do a regular fruit and veg order. Yes a bit dearer but you always get what you order.  And if its not in season, you can't buy it. That means none of this imported frozen stuff.
