Another convert...
«

Hi there TM gurus... I'm impatiently waiting for the delivery of my TMX this week... refusing to cook any meals that will be easier in it and realising my 14yo will most likely work it out way before I do!
My name is Carmen and I am mum to 4... who all eat plenty! Thankfully most of it healthy!
The kids have a wide range of allergies and intolerances and it's exciting to think of how much time and effort this machine will save me!
I do recognise a few of the members from other forums... going back a few years even (Hi Karen, looooong time no speak!
) and a hey girls to those who... ahem, converted me.
Looking forward to becoming a whiz like the rest of you... very soon!

Welcome Ceejay - where are you based?
You will find this forum fantastic & inspirational. I am not a foodie like many of them are here, don't have any food intollerances etc but love my machine & the concept of taking control of what I put in my body.....
Enjoy!

Welcome Ceejay...
As a mum of teens I can tell you that you have made a wise decision in letting them learn to use it before you as they have no fear of their failures
Mine love to make in the summer smoothies, sorbet and "icecream" all I need to make sure is that I have plenty of ice, frozen fruit and milk (or alternative if you use one) iceblocks on hand and away they go, let alone with the other things they manage to cook up.
Winter they make up savoury and sweet risottos, custards and what every else their imagination brings.
All this is on top of what I manage to make lol
I am not a foodie either
just love what my TMX does for our family...I have my 15 yo DS starting hospitality (Cooking) course next term and booked through for the next two years...maybe I might finally start to learn the basics that I may start to understand being a foodie
You will have a wonderful time on this addictive forum as your TMX becomes an addiction

Hi Ceejay, welcome to the forum. Nice to hear you have children who will show an interest in the TMX too - what a great interest you can share with the children. Kitchens are a great place for family gatherings - so much more social than the TV room! Have fun

Welcome Ceejay. I'm like you. No food intolerances etc, just trying to eat more sensibly. But now with the TMX we have lots of yummy sauces and custards that we didn't eat before. Delicious.
