Hi from Regional NSW
« on: June 20, 2013, 07:56:13 am »
Greetings everybody,

I'm Theresa, mum to 2 boys (nearly 5 and 20 months).
I've been reading posts via Tapatalk for a few days but today was my first chance to get onto a device that I could use to register to the forum.

After 2 years on contemplation, I've had my thermomix for 10 days now and am having fun with lots of first attempts. I'm grateful for all your recipe reviews and adaptations.

Our family have no food sensitivities but I'm hoping to reduce the additive contents of the little boys diets. I generally get 30 minutes between home time and dinner on the table so quick cooks are essential.

Tonight is the Donna Hay chicken nuggets. Little boy has been sick so hopefully I get my hands back soon.

-Theresa

Oops. Just realized it was Nigella's nuggets! Just made the EDC chocolate cake. Hmmm a bit too easy. Poor hips.

Welcome Theresa. Your boys and the rest of the family will no longer have to worry about food additives etc. With the thermomix you can control exactly what you are eating.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Welcome to the forum Theresa. It's such an advantage to be able to cook for your family knowing there aren't any nasties in it.

It's some weird bug. He was sick Thursday morning straight after weetbix and then this morning after a cup of warm milk at a cafe. Well every day in between. Has had a little bit of milk in between times (but probably not drunk much) and generally has no intolerances. Not sure if its all the same virus?

Thank you for the welcome.

I will try it but he has been fine on cows milk up until now. Was wondering if it was barley in the weetbix but this morning there was no barley (it was actually a yummy rice porridge (must try that in tmx) breakfast risotto!
