Might not make it.

Had a really stressful evening with family from over east. I am thinking of cancelling my trip to melb to clear out the house, they can do it themselves.

No sleep & a headache.

Cp has just told me we are going!

Why bother Hally. Not your mothers stuff and you will get all the angst. Let them do it themselves. Who needs the stress?

No need to feel guilty. They can hardly expect  you to come all that way to clean Their mother's house.

Your even more right, cant win either way.

Will have to get a credit for our flights, bet the airlines take a huge chunk. Dh has to go to sign up a real estate agent.

No they don't take too much Hally and you will have 12 months to use the credit.  I'm sure you will need to have another holiday in the next 12 months.  I didn't lose too much with Virgin when I cancelled the retreat in WA last year and I then used my credit for flights over to Chookie's lunch for CC so that was a little bonus.

You know my thoughts on going over to Melbourne to hostile in-laws, you would be walking into something that will only end in tears and an irreversible family break-up.  I could never put myself through that.

How can you create more problems than there already are Hally?  You could speak to one of the sisters and ask her if she'd mind if you didn't go over to help.

Good plan JD.

The problem is they dont talk to each other. One sister went to another sisters last night to talk & bitch about my dh & then they rang him, one was telling him what she thought the other yelling rudely from a distance!!

Somehow I don't think you're going to achieve a thing by going and trying to help, Hally.  Guilt trips are self inflicted atrocities - so don't even go there!! - (and, in any case, these should only be felt by those who are doing the wrong thing.)  I'd be simply saying family commitments are keeping you where you are - Let them fight it out between themselves. I think it would be a bit like standing in the middle of the road and then wondering how come you got hit by the oncoming traffic . . . .  What does DH think about it all?

Dh lost it last night & is handing as much he can over to the solicitor. He just wants to get the house ready for sale before we leave on our 8 week trip.  Forget it & hope it sells while we are overseas.

Then they can take what they want & he will get a house clearer in.

He says I am to do whatever makes me happy. :)

Dh just emailed me he wants me there thur-sun with him, so i need to change cp & my flights.

Maybe I could go shopping ;D

Girls I won't be able to come this morning, I think I'd better do some work and pay a few bills. I know there will be another time  :-*
