Victorian Ladies / Lifepool project

I have agreed to partake in the lifepool project and today received this email from them.
Do we have any ladies in Victoria who would like to join in? If so, please contact them directly. I do not have breast cancer and hope never to have breast cancer. It is not a requirement if you want to support this project.
Thank you for being part of the lifepool project. There are currently over 43,000 great women like you who have agreed to support breast cancer research.
To REALLY make a big impact, we need 100,000 Victorian women to join lifepool and the quicker the better!
Would you help us grow our numbers by forwarding this email address to a friend or family member who might like to help? lifepool@petermac.org
If she emails us, we can send her a document pack to read over. She can choose to join, ring to ask questions or pass the pack on to another woman if lifepool isn’t for her. We are looking for women who have had or intend to have a mammogram with BreastScreen Victoria and who are around 40 years or older.
We really want to spread the word to as many women as possible but we won’t chase her up if she chooses not to return the documents.
More information can be found at
www.lifepool.org
or please telephone the lifepool office on freecall 1800 198 082 or 9656 1096.
The information you have provided is helping researchers answer important breast cancer questions: Why do some of us develop breast cancer, how does it grow and how can we better detect breast cancer and treat it more effectively?
Thank you again for your ongoing support,
The Lifepool Team.

Seems a worthwhile project. They should have no trouble getting 40,000 Victorian women.
