hi!! fiona from vic
« on: July 18, 2013, 05:41:35 am »
Hi,

I'm Fiona and I'm from country vic. I've had my thermie for 2 months now and I love it - although I think I def under use it! I have two littlies, 4yo son (really picky eater with textural issues) and a 2yo daughter (eats anything, including playdoh and sand!) so my thermie has made a LOT of pizza dough for pizza and vegemite scrolls.

Have been using recipes off here - I am only now coming to grips with how quick it is to make cakes and slices in it - something I don't do often as usually have too much cake for us but with the thermie can half a recipe and whip it up quickly so we can have a piece and its gone!

just need to get the varoma up and running!

Hi Fiona, thanks for doing as I suggested in another thread ie introduce yourself.  We are a friendly lot here and we like to get to know all our new members and help them out with any problems they might have.

Have you checked out the recipes in the All in One Meals section?  So many people seem hesitant in using the varoma (I can put my had up here too  :-))) but once you get it down pat, it is a wonderful feature of the TMX.  I steam my vegies no other way nowadays.

Looking forward to hearing what you have been cooking and perhaps some reviews as well now that you are out of the closet  ;)

Hello and welcome Fiona. Some of the all in one meals on the forum have become firm favourites with us. Happy Thermomixing.

Hi Fiona & welcome :)
Hopefully the TMX can help with the textural issues and you get some inspiration for using the varoma (i need to use it more too).
Happy Cooking!
