Hi Cookie,
Hope your friend gets better quickly and doesn't share. How brave of his wife, I am always passenger when we tow.
Wish I could see those amazing stars, one day.

How exciting Jeninwa. What are they driving, I will keep my eyes peeled. Robyn, that is an unusual place for a holiday. Why did they select Birdsville?
We are in Port Augusta tonight. I tried to post photos last night but the coverage was very poor. We can now start on our adventure after travelling 2400km. Tomorrow we go up to Wilpena Pound. I haven't been there for years.
We aren't towing Bedlam, hence iam doing some of the driving I don't drive when we tow. I'm not sure how much coverage we will have in the next week or so, but I will do my best Judy and Denise.
We won't be in Birdsville for the races. Not our kind of thing and it will be very crowded then.
Sturt Peas in Wudinna.
Monument to Australian Farmers in Wudinna.
I just loved the trees with the background of the wheat silos.
A cute bobtail when we stopped for a wee while!
The Great Australian Bight. We hope to stop at the head of the bight on the way home to see all the whales.

Oh I'm so jealous. We planned a Holiday to the pound, but had to cancel it due to illness. Can 't wait for your photos.
Pt Augusta is so close( relatively speaking)-It's a pity you couldn't detour to adelaide. Enjoy yourselves!
