I'm loving trying the recipes in this book. They are so easy and I usually have all the ingredients on hand.

I made the apple filling for this first and let it cool in the fridge. I also made the Shortcrust pastry from the EDC that is needed for this, for the first time today and didn't realise how quick and easy it was to do.

They turned out well but personally I prefer puff pastry to shortcrust and would probably add a bit more sugar as I am a sweet tooth.

My toddler had a taste but didn't eat too much as she was full from dinner.

I also use the cheap pasty cutter and folder things that make this easier.

These look lovely Tasty, I would use puff pastry as well.

It sounds like this book would be worth purchasing, all the reviews I have seen are positive.

I forgot to say that you'd need two batches of the shortcrust pastry to use up all the apple mixture.
