New tapatalk won't let me copy posts
« on: August 21, 2013, 12:12:36 pm »
The title says it all. Got the free tapatalk upgrade for iPad and now I can't copy posts (eg recipes) to save - it only lets me copy the link to the post. NOT HAPPY - anyone else found this or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, it's the same for me. Hopefully they will change this on the next update. Now I have to open on safari and copy from there.

I couldn't copy even in the previous version. I had to quote another post and copy from there. You can still do that, or use the browser :)

Do you have the little blue arrow at the bottom of the page?
If so, click that and it gives you some options, the 2 arrows in a square shape opens a copy button.

The 2-arrow seems to copy the URL of the thread.

I've just discovered how to quote another post in my replies. You touch the post you want to quote, and it will be highlighted. Then you touch the top right button. A reply screen appears with the quote preloaded.

Using ipad to do this.
