When is your market stall Karen? Obviously it will be inside. Guess DH will be helping you as he obviously knows the machine backwards. Be very interested to hear how the evening goes. If you can get over some of the obstacles of food laws etc as mentioned in other postings, I'm sure your stall will attract many people - the star attraction is something that a lot of people would never have seen before so that alone will draw some attention. It will be good practice for your days ahead as a consultant. Hey, you could put a sign on your stall - demos can be arranged

dh won't be there as he will be at home with
bratlings
children, i will be on my lonesome. yes inside, but with a sliding door and spread out across 2 rooms so could be chilly lol
i will definitely have something about demo's there! now i'm wishing i hadn't given my girlfriend all my old tupperware table display stuff! lol
oh and it's in 2.5 weeks, so a few weeks after i've started.
I have my first 2 demos booked plus this, and got 2 more friends (who already own one) keen to have a demo to show friends too, so hopefully dates from them soon too
it's all very exciting!

Sounds like a good start. Rooting for you, you've got to show DH that this is a
real job

How about custard Karen?
You could mill the sugar to demonstrate how well it mills, reduction of ingredients in the cupboard, reducing chemicals.
Then show them home made custard in 6 minutes (I only cook it for 6 mins now and it's really nice), no stirring, no lumps and so easy. I'd suggest adding some extra milk (say 100-150mls) to make it a bit runnier and easier to pour.
You could also vary the ingredients as you go say, grate chocolate, or chocolate and orange rind, grind some vanilla beans (although this would be more expensive), brandy custard??, do a coconut mik and lime rind as a dairy free option....
Or... you could pre-prepare some pastry cases and make lemon tarts using the lemon custard as the filling.
Just a few ideas. You would probably need someone helping you clean out the bowls though (do you have a second bowl to use or can you borrow one from someone??) - while you're busy booking demos

I agree! Chocolate custard!
You could make the chocolate red wine cake beforehand (Karen it is lush!) and then cut it in to chunks and then pour over some choc custard for them to taste. And then maybe some hot mulled wine or something, will check out my books for you!

Funny how where you most need it, you can't have it! LMAO!
