What would a trip to Firenze be without a viewing  of Michangelo's David

That was enough food to last me a week MF, how on earth did you manage to eat all that.  No wonder DH has a siesta sometimes  ;D

That was quick Gert!!! Thank you so much for sharing my photos with everyone.
Tapatalk still not working for me.

That meal was a marathon but it was a fabulous dining experience. Our DS and his wife were there on honeymoon and he told us not to miss it. We were treated like royalty and the food kept coming and coming. We didn't  want to offend so had to eat most of it. It was a busy restaurant but not in a street that tourists would find so we were the only non Italians dining. it was like being in someone's home as the owner welcomed all his guests with a glass of bubbles on arrival and on the house! What a special place.

Yes Gert we did pop into another restaurant after shopping last night but the truth is that we just wanted to sit down and have one, yes one glass of wine, but felt obliged to order a pizza.
Do you believe that???  ;D I couldn't eat a bite but it was a nice garden restaurant and we enjoyed sipping our one glass of  ;D ;D ;D
