This looks like a Russian meal to me. Perfect.

Borscht and Solyanka which is a meat soup with just about anything  added including sausage, cured meats, olives , capers, mushrooms etc. sort of a pizza in a bowl !

Draniki. Potato pancakes with mushrooms and sour cream. We had lovely russian rye bread and ian had a pork dish which was lovely but my photo didn't work:-(

I would be totally jet lagged if I had to travel back and forth to that dingy shop with my name on it in StPetersburg.
