HI from Thailand
« on: September 13, 2013, 04:07:07 am »
Been following the forum for the eight weeks or so have had my Thermomix.  Can't thank you all enough for the help and inspiration it's given me.  TMX not sold in Thailand (no distributor) so have had to get to grips with it without benefit of demo or recipe book or whatever else normally comes with it, relying on the net and forums for even the basics.  There have been some great successes (and one or two disasters too!) and even  hubby agrees it was worth the investment (which buying it here was double the cost of Europe or Australia). So, that's a great endorsement I think for the product.

Look forward to keeping up with what's going on here - and if there are any other members in  Thailand let me know (I am a Brit 'retired' here)  ;)

Hi Carolineess, welcome to the forum. It must have been so hard teaching yourself how to use the TMX. There are plenty of uTube videos around - probably the best way to learn how to use all the buttons etc. Hopefully after 6 months use you have it all sorted though and are now just enjoying your cooking.  We're always here if you have any problems though.

Welcome to the forum Carolineess.  What part of Thailand do you live in?  Don't worry, even with demo's we still have some mishaps at first.  Good luck!!

Welcome to the forum. I love Thai food, and miss having fabulous Thai restaurants around when we moved from Kuala Lumpur to Perth. So glad that Tom Yum is easy to make ;D

Hi Carolineess. You have retired to a beautiful country full of amazing sights sounds and smells.  No more pounding your pastes now you  have a Thermothingy.
