Recipe Review - My First Chicken Puree - Baby & Toddler Book p66
« on: September 23, 2013, 12:38:23 pm »
I made this last week to introduce a bit of meat into my 6 month old's diet but she wasn't too keen. Every other time I offered it during the week, she did not seem to like it so maybe she's not ready for meat yet. Having said that, when I tasted it I didn't like the texture and taste wasn't anything exciting either.

It was interesting to see this included fruit as well as vegetables in it.

Here is a photo:

I made this for DS and he devoured it. It was such an easy recipe! I agree the texture is a little grainy, but I was expecting it from the chicken. Wish I had the tmx when DD was starting solids!
I didn't take a photo as it looked just like Tasty's. I suspect the fruit was to provide a little sweetner.
I froze it in ice cube trays and then put in a zip lock bag to defrost we needed.
