They look great cookie. Guess what, I made them today too. Used two teaspoons of yeast and they worked out fine. DS4 and I had fun making these.

I plan to freeze half of mine. I don't see why they shouldn't freeze.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I divided it into 20 portions but think I could even break them into 40 for the kids. Heaps for the freezer :)

Wow 3 people have made them already, well done girls.  Tell me, I've never eaten this type of pretzel so do you eat them for snacks, with a meal or what.  Obviously you don't split and butter/fill them with anything or do you?
