NO NO, don't open them.  Xmas is such a stressful time ,  you are going to need cheering up as the 25th gets closer.
I rushed to the PO today and was given a very large parcel and written on the front was ' not SS'  . All the staff at the PO inspected the parcel and had a guess as to what is in side.   So I opened it.  It was a beautiful book on Gelato, Messina.  This very kind person knows me very well.  as I bought the very same book last week at Readings.  I will return the one I bought as I love books that have been given to me.  Such a nice reminder of very nice people.  Thank you

Maybe Snappy? I'm travelling OK so far.

Last years SS sent me a great calendar with a kitchen tip for each day of the year. I have had such fun reading them each day and DH has given me some strange looks when I've implemented them. Coming up to Christmas there are some great tips. Thankyou to last years SS.  ;D

Well, no secret now  ;D

CC was my Santa last year.

I've enjoyed the calendar so much. DH was in hysterics when he came out to find me sucking a teaspoon whilst chopping onions ( stops you from crying ). It does  -  quite the art to hold a spoon in your mouth, not dribble and chop onions  ???  I wish I had kept them, although at the end of the day I turned them over and used the back for shopping lists.  :D

Lucky you Gert. That will be a real chore to have to go out to lunch at the boating club, just enjoy it - I would  :D

Maybe I should save it for when the next forum member visits me .
