Sounded like a good night out Gretchen and great that you were in a winning team with your ice-tea blend.

I can just see my DD packing a lunchbox like that for the kids Gert - NOT  ;D  Japanese Mums must get up very early to do fancy things like that for their kids.  Great photos, thanks for posting.

Bento box lunches are lovely. DD went to Japan for a month a couple of years ago and loved it.
I went into T2 this morning Gert. I already have one of the jugs you bought but did buy this.

I also bought this as I felt it had lots of recipes I will try.

I love that thing cookie but I really don't need it. Great for tea lovers.  How will you use it?

Cookie, does that have a strainer in it?  I have a mug with a strainer in it and it is a pain in the $##* to get the tea leaves out.

I plan to use it for small amounts of iced tea Gert.

Marie it has a strainer container thing on the bottom. I haven't used it yet so hopefully it won't be too hard to clean.

Thanks Cookie, wil be interested to hear what you think about it.  I only make tea for myself so am looking for something a bit better than what I am currently using.

It is called the tea maker and it has one way valve on the bottom so when you place it on a cup or glass it dispenses from the bottom. You can also pour from it and just turn it upside down to toss the leaves.

I really like my glass tea mug with a handle . It has an  infuser with lid which lifts out with a handle for just rinsing under the tap. It holds about 500 mls
