So I finally caved in and bought this book. At ~$15 it certainly didn't cost much but that's probably because it's not a proper professional book. It is a PDF of a Word document with amateur photos. If that means it's cheaper for me, then I don't mind.

There is a Thermomix versiona and conventional cooking method for each recipe, as well as information about chocolate which I have yet to read. The recipes aren't converted properly for a Thermomix in that cup measurements are used instead of weight.

All of the recipes use cacao wafers that can be puchased from the Changing Habits website. I had bought these months ago to try and since I hadn't used them....thought I would just buy the book to use them.

I'll post reviews as I make the recipes until I run out of wafers.

There are also some recipes from the book that are available for people to view now. I'll post the links as I don't know how to embed.

These are healthier recipes made from real chocolate.

Thanks Tasty. I didn't even know this existed. Possibly some others don't either.

Bedlam - I wouldn't have known about cacao wafers (I mistakenly called them chocolate wafers) unless I read about them on the Changing Habits website. Basically it's the purest form of chocolate without all the nasties. They are also quite bitter so not nice on their own. They look like large chocolate buttons. I'll try and remember to take a photo and post it tomorrow.

Here is a brief description from the website:
Cacao Wafers.
This is the cacao bean before the separation into cacao butter and cacao
powder, there is nothing added   It is 100% cacao conveniently made into
small wafers so that you can use them easily for many of your chocolate
recipes.

As for reviews, I have already posted two and will try and make another two by the end of the week, depending on if I have enough wafers.

So these wafers are basically like healthy chocolate melts or cooking chocolate. Here is what they look like:

I must try and get some of these. They would be very useful.

The book looks good too. Will I or won't I?

Absolutely! I just think these are just that little bit healthier but I'm sure good quality buttons would work too. Let me know how it goes if you try.
