All my holiday photos, everything has been wiped & no internet.

NOT HAPPY JAN.

Did you back it up before you upgraded? If not had you ever backed it up to a PC or Mac?

Do you mean  you have lost your internet at home or just you ipad connection to your wifi?

Bert, both my ipad & cp ipad have been backed up, but now there is no
recipes, photos etc on either ipad. Mine is the main one.

Internet on cps, his laptop & our old computer fine, but my ipad is stuffed. Back to apple tomorrow. Not happy.

I had no problem with loosing anything, if anything I gained because it seems like my DD is using my cloud account to store her photos - I ended up with some  "interesting" photos on my iPad  :-))

Love that wonder. They don't know everything and say nothing to no one. This is a problem with iCloud sharing. He he a gotcha moment!

Photos have returned  from October this year & cps from February ??? But cps might have been given his ipad in February.

I am just hoping that the apple store will be able to find everything in iCloud.

We had a great time with it Gert, fortunately the photos while embarrassing for DD's boyfriend and a few of his mates weren't too bad and we have a great relationship with the boyfriend so were able to really have some fun at their expense for a few days.

There was a fault in the hard drive on my ipad. Apple have replaced my ipad. Now in apple store trying to get all my data back from iCloud. My last back up date was 31 October, so hoping everything up until that date will be restored.

Ok, this is going to sound really dumb. But, how do I back up the data on my iPad please?

Cookie you have a computer right? Take your iPad to your computer and use your USB cord to connect. Then open up iTunes on your computer. It should download automatically.

Or on your iPad go to settings icloud go to storage and backup tap it go to icloud backup and turn it on

I back up all my devices including the phone to my PC and my iMac. I don't use I cloud for backup at all as I prefer to be in control on my computers and you cannot do both.
