Cheats Caramel
Ingredients:
1 can condensed milk
60g butter
2 Tablespoons golden syrup
Preparation:
1. Place all ingredients into TMX. cook 100⁰- 8 mins - speed 3/4. Give sides of bowl quick scrape.
2. Cook further 5mins varoma temp - speed 3/4.
Tips/Hints: You could probably continue to cook longer if you required a thicker/darker caramel, however you would need to give the bottom of tmx a good scrape as it starts to catch on the bottom.
I use this for caramel slice, Anzac caramel slice, to layer in brownies before cooking (yum)! I imagine it would work for banoffee pie also. Anything that calls for caramel really.
