Natvia/Stevia in Sorbets?
« on: December 14, 2013, 12:39:53 pm »
Hi everyone! Just a question re sorbets - is it possible to use Stevia or Natvia in place of the sugar? Would that work? Has anyone tried it?
For those of you in other countries, Stevia and Natvia are natural sweetners, similar to Equal in texture but without the aspartme etc :)
Thanks!

KQ, I found this review of a sorbet recipe on Recipe Community website where 100g of sugar was involved.

"This is so delicious. I didn't have any pears so I used one green apple and one red apple. Also, instead of sugar I used Natvia stevia, but only 50grams. So yummy. "
