I have a KA and use it for cakes, pavlovas, making icecream (I have the bowl attachment) and pasta. I must admit it's been neglected since Thelma though.

I still have a hand beater like Cookie for the odd occasion that I need one. At least they take up less room lol. The one I have is like a super charged one so doesn't take long at all so standing holding it isn''t an issue. I got it from Aldi a few years ago and it's been really good. That year they had a cheapie one and then this one, so in brand names I''m sure there will be power differences. It's cheaper Hally lol
? I don't make heaps of cakes though because I end up the one eating them lol. Kids and DH aren't big on cakes.

There is now Hally, mine is 18 years old and there was just the one back then and not many colours so easy to make the decision.

I have a red kitchen aid and I love it! It's looks so pretty out on the bench.
I use it like most others - for egg whites, cakes etc.
I have the mincer attachment and I use that a lot. I often buy a whole rump and mince it myself. I'll mince lamb and chicken as well, instead of buying mince. I have sausage stuffer attachment as well, but I've not used it (yet).
You probably don't need one Hally, but you definitely want it (so buy it
