RAW cookbook
«

Hi folks,
well, Mum and Dad fly on Saturday, so we'll be seeing them soon (hurray!). I'm on my countdown for the last few days that I can get things to my Mum ready to put in her suitcase for me. I've just had an email from the consultant in my Mum's area asking if I'd like the RAW book. Um... I don't know? Don't even know what it is, to be honest (sorry if we've already discussed it at length here - I wasn't properly present for a couple of months).
So - can anyone tell me a) what it is and b) if it is something which you would recommend me to order?
Thanks!

my understanding is that it's all about raw food, ie: food taht is not cooked. so depends if you like that sort of thing or not. hopefully someone who has it can give examples of what's in it!

Had a quick squiz at it on the weekend. It is about not heating foods beyond 50 deg from memory. We had the carrot and ginger dip out of it.
Not bad.
If I was more into RAW foods I'd buy it.

Rawlicious
(introduction says this) This booklet was born from feedback and inspiration after Dr Fred Bisci's seminars in Australia. In case you missed the seminars you can always read Fred's book titled "Your Healthy Journey". I have the book Caroline so if you decide you may be interested I can give you a list of the recipes that are in it.

I am a raw food afficinado but I still like my lamb and other cooked foods.
It is just another way of extendinging your repotoir (sp??) of menu items.
I would say yes please give me the book as you can always adapt things from it.

I think you've pretty much convinced me, Spanner. Could I trouble you for the index, Faffa? Then I could make my final decision. Or perhaps I should do this another way - have you used many of the recipes, and do they taste good? At the end of the day, if I know they taste good and they're healthy, then I know that I want it
