Finally have my Thermie

Hi Everyone
I have finally got a Thermomix! Whooohooo!
It is only second hand from a friend but who cares.
I have been reading a lot of topics and recipes on this forum for the last year or so and also visiting other websites like Quirky Cooking and getting lots of ideas and tips.
Its wonderful reading about so many healthy and organic foods to buy and cook. Some I have never heard of.
I am still a bit 'precious' when using the Thermomix but hope to get more used to it as I go along.
I have already made strawberry jam, Mayonnaise (I still can't believe I did this), brownies and scones, all in one afternoon.
Just wondering if I can contact any consultant in Bayside Melbourne to maybe attend a class.
Everyone's advice on this forum is invaluable! Thanks.
Anna.

If you have a look

Hello and welcome Anna!
Wow, how ever did you convince your friend to sell you their thermomix? I'd be so lost without mine.
The more you use it the more confident you will get.

Hi Anna, welcome to the forum. I too would be interested to know why your friend sold her TMX - it would be like losing a member of the family to most of us
Have fun, it sounds as if you are into it already.

Thanks everyone.
The friend had it sitting in his home unused and I happen to hear about it so bought it off him.
My first attempt at making bread last night. Made pizza rolls for the kids for lunch today. Turned out pretty good. Might have to cook for less time as my oven seems to be quite hot.
