It was my DH who spotted the thermo servers lol, and yes, we were trying to see where thermy was. I agree Nikkit the WA team are very embarrassing .

Same here Augusta. Hubby spotted the thermoserver. I also think they wouldn't be allowed to use a TMX.

My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

I watched it and missed seeing it. Don't think they are allowed to use a thermomix on the show.....might make them good cooks 😉😛

I'm sure I read somewhere that it isn't their kitchen or their recipes? That they are placed in a strange kitchen and given a menu to cook to.

That sounds about right as they can never find anything! I've watched a few episodes, but its cringeworthy. I reckon they're fed the lines, no one can be that stupid or nasty...
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

The Thermothingy is set to feature heavily in MC this year I believe.

You could see a TM on the bench when the WA best friends cooked, but they never used it.

I missed that arcadia. Would using a Thermomix really be considered cheating? I realise not everyone has access to one but they are allowed to use food processors and stand mixers.

it seems that they all use the same appliances as I've noticed KA's in the background not being used. I suppose this puts everyone on more even ground if one appliance is better than another

Maybe they were all given certain appliances that they are allowed to use. I was surprised to notice that a lot of contestants are using a deep fryer.  I didn't think that many households would ordinarily have one.

Edited to add. I just checked and the program is sponsored by Breville. I take it that that is what accounts for the food processors, stand mixers and deep fryers looking the same in each kitchen.
