No way I was not using up the whole packet of fruit but yes it could have done with less. In any case I see it slowly disappearing before my eyes

It looks delicious to me Gert. I should imagine that it will be lovely toasted. I am home all day tomorrow so I must try SC bread.

It is fun cookie. Came out very moist but dried quickly.

What an interesting thread, and what fun you've all been having.

My only slow cooker is 6litres and oval. So not for me at present but love reading all your adventures.  :D

You could still use your slow cooker by putting your bread in a pan and a pan in the cooker  if you wanted to join the fun. I really can't see much advantage for me in cooking bread this way but it does have it's uses.

I bought the Woolies 1.5l slow cooker today - an impulse buy, but have had fun. I made a GF loaf in it - it's ages since I made a loaf of bread for me, so I enjoyed it  :D

Will post the recipe once I make it error free. Forgot the potato starch, thought it seemed a bit moist so added flax. Once I cook it again with ALL the ingredients I will post it then. It was a wonderful treat with the lovely crust, it rose well, but did sink a bit in the centre. Took about 2 hrs to cook.

Thanks JD and Chookie, can see me using this SC.

It's nice when you can make something just for yourself ElleG, why should you miss out.  I hope you get a lot of use from your new SC.

This post is just for fun and I haven't attempted this recipe.
But it does look interesting but not slimming.
I thought the dough might be worth playing with!
See what you think!

That is exactly how I felt when I saw it JD.
I cook dairy free and am not sure how this would go with nuttalex.
I hope some one cooks this and is able to post.

Bootobethn, that really looks dangerous.  I bought a cute little woolies slow cooker today and made my first mini loaf, it didn't even have time to cool and we had demolished it.
