Lovely looking rolls GF. I would hate to be without my oven.

I recently had a 3 fer including the washing machine. The slow cooker is very handy for a lot of things and i have made bread in it successfully but only as a challenge goldfish. I have made a sort of baguette in the Varoma.
It is amazing how we all have the same issues from time to time and a great place for some good advice a helping hand.
When I bought my 9kilo washing machine recently, I had no idea I would have to stand on my tip toes to reach a stray sock and nearly fall in. It is huge after a tiny one but at least I can wash a doona and not spend $25 to have it washed for me.
You have been busy Dede.

GF your rolls look great, you are not going to know yourself when you have your new oven. Looking forward to all the photos posted.
Dede, I know the washing saga after having the extra 3 living with us! Washing many loads daily. Good idea getting the extra warranty I did the same when mine died just out of warranty when the kids were with us. Love my 10 kg Samsung front loader .

Hi I made this loaf the other day in my small slow cooker, really happy with the result used the Vienna rec. I browned the top and the bottom under the grill for a few minutes, the sides are the colour they were in the S.C
Now I just have to remember how to down load the picture, Here goes

PP, love the look of your loaf. I have been lining my mini slow cooker but yesterday brushed it with cake release and sprinkled plenty of sesame seeds around. Think I will continue to do this.

Chookie, what is cake release? Would light brush with oil be the same?

I read right through this thread again today after feeling inspired by Chookie's recent SC loaf and made this one in my mini slow cooker tonight.
Half quantity
no fuss dough
, lined bottom of SC, sprayed the sides and sprinkled with sesame seeds and after 1 hr 10 minutes transferred loaf after brushing the top with melted butter to a preheated 180
o
air fryer until loaf was brown.
A combination of ideas from Chookie, JulieO and maddy. Very happy with it.
