Question about this one - do you add the liquid from the can of chickpeas?

I wondered that too.  I always drain it and they seem fine.  :)

Best to drain them or you'll have pancakes

I'd like to make these with GD on Friday so my question is - is it a teaspoonful you drop onto the baking sheet or bigger.  Heaped?

How big do you want the cookies - dessertspoon size is good.

Whatever you think is a fair thing Thermomixer.  I get totally confused making cookies.  I need to be told level or heaped spoon (teaspoon, dessertspoon, tablespoon) and almost how far to space them out :-)) :-)) :-)) Also how many they make.  I would be so pedantic as to do them all again if I ended up with 30 and there should have been 36.  I'm a Wally - yes I know. :P :P :P I also would like to know if they are a soft cookie or a crunchie cookie.  Am I asking too much :-* :-* :-*

Judy if you are a Wally you are very precious-that was my Dad's name.

I'm not that good with my cookies. I just throw them onto the tray. If the recipe makes more or less I don't really worry. Very rich cookies I try to keep small but others, who cares?

Mine came out a little soft, so the next day while I was baking cakes i just popped the biscuits back in the oven for a while and they were perfect.

You're not that good with your cookies ??? ??? ??? ??? Cookie1, you are the cookie queen ;) ;) ;) You are obviously very confident just throwing them on - maybe I should stress out less and do the same.  I do like crunchy cookies though or biscuits as we know them to be here in Australia.  As you can see, I don't do them very often - not that I don't like making them, it is just the weight issue.

These are really nice, made 3 dozen or thereabouts - GD has eaten so many I'm not too sure how many there were there to start with. I cooked rounded dessertspoonsful for 15-20 minutes, keeping an eye on them until they looked just right for nice  crunchy cookies - just how I like them. Thanks Amanda, good one.

I did reveal that these were good for you (apart from the el choco) and DS wants me to make them again. Thumbs up!

These look great.  I might give them a go with some egg replacer....or does anyone think they might work without egg (I've observed that lots of recipes can do okay without the egg).

I find I need specifics for biscuits too.  I do have the knowledge buried deep in me because when I see them cooking I think 'Mmmm that is 'that sort of biscuit! - too late'.

Love all the tips.  Can't wait to apply chickpeas by stealth.
