Hi Tamara, welcome to the forum where so many people have found the inspiration needed to start using their Thermomixes a lot more than they have been.  Just spend some time on here looking at our extensive recipe collection, threads like What are you cooking today or what are you having for dinner in the Chit Chat section are a great place to start as the pictures alone should be enough to inspire you.

There are some great recipes on this list of favourites posted by CP.

Another great list is posted under this recipe of Beef Stroganoff of Chelsea's.

Then we have our list of URL links to many great Thermomix blogs where you will find an endless supply of recipes.

Tamara, your inspirational journey is about to begin, I hope it has a great outcome. ;D

Thank You,

i really hope i get to enjoy it, i was so excited to get my Thermomix an then everyone in the house whenever i went to use it to cook dinner sighed, which kind of insulted me a little bit (strange i know), so I'm trying to get my partner to look for recipes with me so he will be more interested, an then he cooks with me. .   :)

Hi Tamara. I can understand your feelings when people sigh. It is very deflating when you have cooked something. I don't mind constructive criticism though. My family are my guinea pigs and quite often they don't like it, but I don't mind as I need that feed back.

Maybe you could select one or two things a week to make. Being in Queensland it is probably warm and humid so perhaps a lovely sorbet to end a meal would go down well. Here is an icecream recipe from Quirky Cooking is based in QLD. It is lovely and very healthy.

Some of the Dessert recipes on here are lovely.

What type of thing would you like to cook?  Judy has given you lots of general ideas. The thermomix is good for quiches too. Make the pastry in the thermomix. Do the filling in the thermomix and then bake it in the oven.

Please keep in touch and tell us what you have tried. We can then give feedback and lovely comments.  Do you have the thermomix sitting on the bench?  That is important as it can be a bother to get out to use. Good luck.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Welcome Tamara, hope you do find some recipes on the forum to get you back to using your machine.  Let us know what sort of things you and your partner prefer.  CP's list of favourites is a wonderful place to start.

Hi Tamara and welcome. Once you get used to using the tmx you will wonder how you ever managed without it. I do find a lot of people tell me it is not worth spending that much money on an appliance but I just think to myself that I am the winner here.
