Thermomix TM21 won't switch on!

Hello, I am new here. I have a TM21 that won't switch on at all. I have changed the fuse and still has no signs of life.  Was hoping to save on a repair bill and wondered if anyone else had ever had a similar problem :-) thanks

I have never come across this problem before.I think you need to contact HO and ask for advice.

Maybe turn the power off and disconnect from the wall, plug in again and try. I learnt today that if you turn OFF with the power button you have to turn ON with the Power button. Whereas if you let the TM turn off or go into standby mode you can turn on by pressing any button (which is what I do).

(Don't know anything about TM21's though - but its worth trying)

Hi and welcome to the forum Lottie.  I'm sorry your first posting is a problem and hope you can have it seen to very quickly.  Did you try plugging it into a different power point?

Thanks very much for the suggestions - I will try switching socket/turning on an off and will then just phone to see about getting it checked out. Thanks again for the replies :-)

If you have power and still cannot turn on try checking the lid rim ring. If it gets a kink in it you may find it impossible to set the on off switch.... I had that problem! took forever to work out.
