Hi *waves* from Perth WA
« on: August 04, 2009, 02:55:09 pm »
;D Hellooooo my name is Meagan (if you didn't already guess  ;) )

I found my way here through a friend on nappycino (an Australian cloth nappy forum) who invited me to her TMX demo and then another friend who lead me to the blog The Kitchen Playground and as a result a whole lot of other TMX blogs and here  ;D

I am keen on buying a TMX, just getting the funds together.

We had a demo last Thursday night and DH is now convinced so I am just trawling the forum and doing heaps of reading. I am interested in doing demos myself but have two small children one of which is breast fed and only 6 months old so still quite attached to me.

Anyway that turned into a long intro  :)

Hi and welcome Meagan - doesn't matter how you find us but it is nice to see all roads lead to the TMX forum eventually. Good luck with your dream of being a consultant and have fun when you buy your TMX.  Plenty on here to keep you busy until you get the funds together to purchase. Lots of young mums like you on here now so you will feel quite at home.

Hi Karen, unfortunately he is not keen on EBM in a bottle at all :( he wants it straight from the source  ;) we didn't start early enough with him. I didn't really think about it to be honest because number 1 was tube fed in the hospital so I had a fair bit of EBM and we wanted to use it rather than waste it, so he got into the bottle fed EBM thing really early, which made going out on the odd night easy. I wish in hindsite we had done EBM in a bottle with number 2 earlier.

No I wouldn't dare do that.

It's funny because my eldest son was quite sad when I had to explain to him that I never breastfeed him (we adopted him from Ethiopia and I couldn't take the lactation drugs).  In the future though I think he will be quite pleased that he had nothing to do with drinking from Mum's boobs!!!  I can picture him taking great delight in teasing his younger brother about his fondness for Mum's milk.  Eeewwww yuckooooo!!!
