Harvey Fresh no longer WA owned
« on: April 10, 2014, 08:59:59 am »
At Aussie Farmers Direct, we are committed to delivering the best quality, 100% Australian products to you. Due to the recent sale of Harvey Fresh to Italian-owned company, Parmalat, we have decided to replace our milk range with Brownes.

Brownes is proudly a WA dairy company and have been supplying generations of West Australians with fresh dairy products since 1886. It collects milk from over 61 dairy farmers from the south west of WA.

H :)

Such a shame that so many businesses are being sold to overseas companies. ???

I heard that last week so I didn't buy my usual Harvey Fresh  milk and orange juice.

We got the same email from AFD yesterday, it's a shame another business has gone to an OS company.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

I agree totally. (although nearly always buy Brownes anyway)

Although I think I'd rather an Italian company than Chinese based...they don't have a very good reputation with milk.
