I did a search but I could not find a recipe for Tahini. My search criteria could well have been all over the place but if any one has a good recipe for making Tahini I would be very gratefull ....  in fact so gratefull I will do a chicken dance for you .... not that you will actually get to see it but know that it will be done in your honour.

They were talking about this the other night at a talk I went to. Basically you just mill sesame seed and if the texture isn't right, add sesame oil until it is.

Very scientific, aren't I. Someone might have an actual recipe!

That's about all there is to it.  Roasted give more flavour

http://www.ayur-indo.com/english/e.tahini.htm - that's a TM21 machine they are using.

You can make paler tahini by using raw seeds soaked overnight - dry them on tea towels and then blend in the Thermomix - you may need to add some oil - vegatable or grapeseed may give less overpowering sesame flavour than sesame.
