For those of you who buy meat in bulk - do you buy it through a local butcher? Halex - where do you buy your bulk meat from in Perth?  Those prices sound good.  Is the chicken and pork free range?

We buy from our local butcher.

Chickens are only 4 weeks old, when processed, not very old at all.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Yes the butcher is in Perth South of the River. Yes all meat is free range, chicken might have gone up in price since my last trip.

Where are you?

Ha ha - I can be found dashing through gc before my 2.5 yo decides he's had enough, or sitting at croissant express while he plays on the ride on toy 😄

so much more organized with meal planning on the weekend.
Then doing a big batch cook up on Sundays. :)

Its actually alot more relaxed, having it all planned out for the week.

Yes still meal planning, but using freezer food atm :)

When we are back to normal, my goal is to use as much as I can from our freezer, fridge & pantry before we go away. Save the $$s as we have/having a lot of additional expenses at the moment.

H :)

I thought it would be good to have a topic for those who meal plan every week. Here is mine for the week.

Lamb chops marinated in honey and mint with mashed potato cakes, carrots and beans
Tacos
Nico Moretti's Thai chicken and basil with rice
Meat loaf with coffee sauce and veggies
lentil shepherds pie
Pork buns

Snacks/lunches:
Quiche
Muesli bars
Italian flat bread with onions
